Amazon.com Product Description
Featuring a flat screen for an extra-sharp picture, dual tuner picture-in-picture, and superb sound reproduction right out of the set, Toshiba's 32A41 32" stereo television is a formidable addition to any home entertainment system.

Video Features
This set features Toshiba's FST Black Picture tube, which increases viewing angles and reduces reflected ambient light while improving contrast and depth of field, resulting in a vivid, high-contrast picture. The unit's 3-line Digital Comb Filter also enhances resolution by removing the blurred edges between colors and reducing dot crawl, and is enhanced by a Vertical Contour circuit, which improves black and white signal transitions and enhances image sharpness. Additionally, the set's picture-in-picture feature lets you watch one program while monitoring another. ColorStream component video inputs are also included.

Audio Features
This MTS stereo with SAP (second language decoding) set also includes surround sound capabilities and a front-firing speaker system for maximum sound quality. This television includes 2 rear A/V inputs, a rear S-video input, and A/V outputs.

Other Features
A Glow universal remote, built-in V-Chip parental control, and noise muting are among the other standard features of this set.

Another fine product from Toshiba5
I purchased the Toshiba 32A41 32 inch tv three weeks ago to replace a 12 year old, 20 inch Toshiba tv. My 20 year old 13 inch Toshiba tv is still going strong! Toshiba has another winner. This tv has a beautiful, clear picture, great sound and an easy to use remote control. I have it hooked up to a Toshiba (what else?) dvd player. What a combination! I unfailingly recommend the Toshiba 32A41.

strong picture - good price5
In January I ordered a JVC 27D302. This is a decent set for the money (see my review.) But by March I had to admit I was not satisfied. Above all, I had settled for a 27 inch set when I had really wanted a 32 inch. So I swallowed real hard, sent the JVC to the back bedroom, and ordered this Toshiba. I love its picture quality. It is both bright and rich. I would call it 'strong' or 'bold' compared to other sets I have had (including the JVC.) Transient room lighting from lamps does not seem to cause as much annoyance or reflection with this tv as I have experienced with others. The sound is also better than I would have expected. Though I generally listen through my stereo system, the Toshiba's onboard speakers provide good enough 'bread and butter' sound for everday viewing. Also, unlike the JVC, this set has a very low level of hum. I have only a few caveats to the potential buyer. 1). This set has more sensitivity to magnetic interference from speakers than my other units have had. I have moved my (unshielded) speakers farther away, but only after getting some fairly nasty 'staining' which I will need to degauss. 2). You have only two 'video' inputs (svideo/RCA and component/RCA) and an RF jack. So if you use a video input for a satellite dish you have only one high quality input left for a VCR or DVD player, not both. This leaves you with the necessity of using 'creative connections' -- which usually means routing your satellite dish signal through the VCR. I did this with no apparent loss of picture quality, though I would have preferred a direct svideo connection rather than the indirect RCA plugs. Of course, if you have only cable using an RF connection, you will still have both video connections available. 3). The remote control will not operate a DVD player or satellite receiver. 4). The audio outputs are not variable, so you can't control your system amp volume via the tv's remote control. But on the essential criteria by which a tv set is measured -- picture quality -- this set is wonderful. Mated to the superior signals of a satellite receiver or DVD player the Toshiba 32A41 gives outstanding results.

Just the thing for a family theatre upgrade.5
Went from a 20" Sony, to this Toshiba. It really does the trick of transforming the viewing experience. The picture is every bit as sharp as expected, and controls are easy to navigate and adjust. The sound is amble and well defined. In addition, we use a cable supplied to the home, so in order to have PIP one would need 2 converter boxes. Therefore PIP is not practical when using cable and unnecessary on this model anyway.
