Do not buy LG products from Amazon...
I purchased this television 2/5/09 for my daughter. The sound quality was not really great and the picture was alright; but all in all it was fine for my daughter's room (for about a month tops). Within a couple of weeks, the TV would make some horrible noise when turning the set on, and then my daughter turn the TV on and change the channel quickly to get the picture to appear. Now the TV doesn't turn on at all.

Since there was only a 30 warranty with the seller and I contacted them soon after the 30 days were up, I was not able to return the TV to the seller. I then contacted LG, as they have a 1 year manufacturer's warranty. LG WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY WITH THE RECEIPT FROM AMAZON BECAUSE THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE TELEVISION IS NOT ON THE RECEIPT. We are now left with a large black box in my daughter's room with absolutely no purpose, and no way to return or exchange it, and it was only a month and a half old when it malfunctioned.
