Great bedroom TV
I wanted a small TV for my bedroom, and figured for the price, I would give this model a try. I am very pleased with my purchase. Nice picture. Surprisingly good sound (as most small TVs have especially tinny speakers.) Plus lots of flexibility on the input front with A/V, PC, Antenna, S-video, and Component jacks. The only criticism I have (and they are small) are that the base brightness level is set far too low. Spend some time customizing the picture and you'll be just fine.

A DECENT REPLACEMENT TV
I bought this TV to replace a TV/VCR combo in preparation for digital switch.
PROS
TV has a really good receiver built in. Picked up 2 extra channels my Toshibia didn't.
Sound is way better than expected.
Is actually smaller than 13in it replaces while giving a bigger picture.
CONS
As previous review mentioned, very dark picture to start but increasing brightness fixes it quick.
No HDMI. So if you are looking for HD sources other than TV reception like a blueray - forget it. Regular DVD should go into progressive scan to get best DVD picture.
Very Light. Feels very easy to knock over.

Overall, the cons were minor compared to what I got for upgrading to this TV. Plus box comes with it's own carry handle if you buy from a store.

Good small TV
When viewed straight on, this TV has a clear picture and good audio. I did need to try a few antennas before I found one that worked with this TV without break up. (It is not connected to cable.) In fact it still doesn't get as many channels as another TV that I use with the same antenna. However, for the price, it is a good small TV for a small area such as the kitchen.
